Q: How can I receive admissions materials from Holy Family School?
A: If you are interested in receiving application forms and admissions information, please call us at 256.539.5221. We will mail you a brochure and all necessary application materials. You can also download the New Student Admission Application from our website.

Q: How do I apply to Holy Family School?
A: In order to apply to HFS, a student and/or family must first submit an application form to our office.

Q: Are there any other requirements for the application process?
A: Yes.  The other application requirements are listed on the Apply to HFS page.

Q: What is the deadline for submitting an application?
A: There is not a specific deadline for applying to HFS. However, all application requirements must be fulfilled before considering a student for enrollment.

Q: Are there any required screenings or testing for admissions?
A: Kindergarten students are screened before entering our school. Transfer students take a reading placement test.

Q: What curriculum do you follow?
A: Our curriculum is approved by the Catholic Diocese of Birmingham, Alabama and follows the state guidelines.

Q: What is the teacher student ratio?
A: Our class size is limited. Eighteen students are accepted in our Pre-Kindergarten class. We accept no more than 20 students in our Kindergarten class. Grades 1st through 4th grade are capped at 25 students and no more than 28 students in our middle school classes, grades 5th through 8th.

Q: Do you have a sports program?
A: Yes. Our sports program includes girl's volleyball, T-Ball, coed soccer, boys and girls basketball, cheering and track.
